It may have all started in 2006 with a Sharpie marker and pair of sneakers inside a freshman dorm room, but since then it has climbed to a whole another level. It required years of dedicated research and development, but the end result is a unique sneaker customization process by T.WAY.

The process begins with the customer providing a never-worn pair of leather shoes, no matter the brand. The modification then begins by stripping the factory weather-proof coating in order to get down to the raw leather. Once prepared, T.WAY then freehand paints (without the aid of any stencils, tape, etc. numerous thin coats of specialty leather paints. Once the entire shoe design is complete, the shoe is recoated with weather and waterproof finishes. Total production time can vary on the amount of details, but on average, take around 20-30 hours per pair. Due to these factoids, it is not quite rocket science to understand the reasoning behind the exclusivity of the custom sneaker service by T.WAY. Each pair is truly a work of art whether the client decides to wear or simply display them in our included custom-built, glass-enclosed display case.
