"It is impossible to say anything negative about this guy. He's won an NBA championship and a Gold Medal at the 2008 Olympics and is still incredibly humble. What many do not know, is that Tayshaun was my first. Wait, let me better explain that. When I first got access into the back tunnels, Tayshaun was one of the players that showed me the greatest amount of love. He was the first one that brought in a pair of AF1's for me to do for him. He was the first one that took me to his car and pulled the shoes from the front seat of a luxury car that costs more than my life.
His only criteria for the shoes was that he wanted his number on them and his nickname, "Prince of the Palace." When I brought the completed pair back to the back tunnels after another game in Detroit, he was the first player to pay me. It's pretty funny because I think he was taken back a little bit by the high costs because he had to borrow a few $100-bills from Chauncey Billups. Little did he know that these shoes helped pay for my college books for that next semester of school, ha. Everytime I am able to catch up with him, he always says he has the shoes displayed in his home office. I still do owe him a custom-built display box still though because I did not have access to those when I first started - and like I said: he was my first." -T.WAY
